RUMMELHART AND HANNES PLEAD THEIR CASE TO ICEMAN

Rumme and Hannes Tandem Training

Brian Rummelhart and Chris Hannes, fresh off their division championship at the Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Epic, have made contact with the Iceman Commeth committee with the intention of being allowed entry into the the already full Mountain Bike Race to be held on November 5th in Traverse City, Michigan.  Stoker Chris Hannes is cautiously optimistic.  "We tried to sign up earlier but it was too late.  We hadn't actually competed on a tandem at that point so there was no point in pushing the issue then.  Now we some credentials."  Captain Brian Rummelhart sees the logic in letting the new team compete.  "It's always nice to be able strengthen a division.  I wish there were more tandems at O2S.  We will beg if necessary."
Hannes added this would be a major opportunity for the team. "This is a premere  race.  It filled up in a few days.  O2S was a learning experience, I think we could win.  I've made our case, now we wait."
