REC PLEX INDOOR TRIATHLON AND LOOKS GOOD DOING IT

On the weekend of November 18th
and 19th the Drivers Club completed the final two events of
Superweek at the Rec Plex in Pleasant Prairie. The final
two events were the Run with the Turkey's 5k on Saturday and the
Turkey Indoor Triathlon on Sunday. Additionally the two
events were scored and totaled for a combined weekend
competition.
On Saturday two DC were among the
110 participants in the 5k run around Lake Andrea. Chris
Hannes and Brian Rummelhart entered the event even though their
training for the event consisted of one day on a treadmill.
Despite this their results were good with Hannes coming in 4th
overall and 1st in his age group with a time of 19:49.
Rummelhart finished next in 13th place and 6th in the difficult
30-40 age group in 21:59 setting the table for both of them in
the weekend combined competition.
The Sunday indoor triathlon
featured 8 DC competing in their own wave against 66 other
competitors. They used the synergy of the group to capture
4 age group titles and the overall men's title. Age group
winners were Lindsey Allemand in the 16-19 age group, Jesse
Menke in his first triathlon won the 30-34 title, Brian
Rummelhart took the 35-39 crown, and Carl Carlson led the 40-44
group.

In the overall final results the
DC also had a good day. In the men's overall Competition
Brian Rummelhart was the overall winner with Carl Carlson second
and Chris Hannes third to complete the all Drivers Club Podium.
Also in the men's competition were Jeff "JJ" Johnson in 7th
place, Jesse Menke 8th and Dan Allemand in 9th. In the women's
competition Jodi Rummelhart was 6th and Lindsey Allemand was
21st.
For the overall combined weekend
competition Chris Hannes took second place and Brian Rummelhart
was third.
