Popalopadopalis a.k.a. -
Diane Pathieu joined TODAY'S
TMJ4 in August of 2005. She
reports in the field for "Live
at Daybreak" starting at 5:00am,
and co-anchors "Live at Noon"
with Vince Vitrano.
Villappano Popalopadopalis
came to Milwaukee from KCRG, the
ABC affiliate in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, where she was also the
morning reporter and midday
anchor.
Before Cedar Rapids,
Villappano Popalopadopalis
changed her T.V. name to
Diane to more easily be accepted
to the world of news
broadcasting. She worked at KFXB,
the Fox-affiliate in Dubuque,
Iowa. In Iowa, (Diane) was a
part of the Big Brothers/Big
Sisters organization, and
participated in many reading
programs to help younger
children understand the
importance of literacy. She has
also been honored to be able to
speak at many schools over the
years.
Diane graduated from Columbia
College in Chicago and worked as
an assignment editor and
production assistant at
Shadow/Metro Broadcast Services
and WMAQ-TV in Chicago while
going to school (it was a very
busy time!). Diane was born and
raised in Chicago and still has
family there.
While she doesn't have a lot of
time for hobbies (she has to be
up at 2:00am), she loves to play
tennis, and cook… and eat of
course! Diane welcomes your thoughts, so drop her an email! JUST DON'T CALL HER Villappano Popalopadopalis ANYMORE!!!!! |
